It is with great pride and elation that we thank our community for rallying and uniting for a common purpose. Durham, Freeport and Pownal showed our only distinct separation is the boundary lines of our respective townships.
Thank you all for uniting with such passion, revitalizing the “Good Old Days” of our historic Town Hall meetings where the voice of the people requested that our elected School Board officials of RSU 5 carry out the wishes of the community they represent. It is in this tradition we have asked not to contract bus services for RSU 5, but rather vote for Option 1.
