I whole-heartedly support Bill Donovan for Scarborough Town Council. Bill is the right man in the right place at the right time. Bill brings a fresh perspective and he has ideas for keeping Scarborough a high-quality community.
What are some of Bill’s ideas? Expand the municipal incentive program rewarding cost-saving ideas to School Department employees, have a council member regularly present in the schools, and create programs that target our most underutilized resource, the skills and talents of our seniors. Bill wants to keep Scarborough vibrant without the tax hikes that have become an expected annual event. Did you know that the tax rate in Scarborough increased 21 percent from 2009 to 2013? That is simply not sustainable. Scarborough needs a fresh perspective; we need Bill.
