We would like to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Freeport, Durham, Pownal, Brunswick and Yarmouth fire departments for the incredible job they did in putting down the fire in our garage and saving our house on Sunday, Jan. 10. That was mutual aid at its finest.
We would also like to thank Rick Harrison and Gene Davenport for their prompt response to demolish what was left of the garage, and for taking care of the debris. To all our friends and family who provided us with food, loaned us a car, helped by spending countless hours cleaning and taking inventory of what was left, we truly appreciate all of your efforts.
