As former Falmouth town councilors, we endorse Bonny Rodden and Barbara DiBiase for Town Council.

Barbara knows about small businesses and property values – about saving money for Falmouth – and about efficient ways to keep Falmouth an excellent place to live and to educate our children. She runs a real estate appraisal and property management company with her husband, and is an owner of NextCentury Energy Consultants. She formerly managed six local chambers of commerce. She recently obtained a $130,000 grant for Falmouth to help save money on energy. She is a grandparent and cares about maintaining the excellence of our schools. Barbara is thoughtful and focused.

Bonny is running for a second term on the council, and her effectiveness as a councilor is proven. Her decisions have always been made based on what is best for all of Falmouth. She has vigilantly sought the advice and opinion of residents and taxpayers. Last fall she promoted and ran a public forum to consider how best to develop the Falmouth Shopping Center. She also helped lead a collaborative, effective and trusted process to control costs in the school and town budgets. She is an advocate for senior citizens, and championed continued bus service.

Both Barbara and Bonny are hard workers. We need councilors who will do the hard work to engage citizens and develop solutions. Having town leaders such as Barbara and Bonny will help ensure that Falmouth continues to be the kind of town we take pride in and value.
