Through the generosity of local businesses, our patrons and the public, who donated and bought books, the Cundys Harbor Library had a very successful book sale on July 17 and 18.

Thanks also go to the donors of goods and services which were raffled off at the sale. A meal at the ever-popular Block and Tackle Restaurant at Cundys Harbor was won by Lois Pulsifer; hair styling at Rhonda’s Family Hair Care was won by Lillian Everhart; a delicious dish from prize-winning Hancock Gourmet Lobster Co. was won by Barrie Wallace; an aerial photograph of Cundys Harbor by Mark Royall was won by Carol deBellefeuille; a “Whimsy Bird” sculpture by Rhonda Weaver was won by Harriette Griffin, and a framed poster was won by Pat Forsythe.

The library recently completed a new addition, allowing it to expand its programs and offer more library services to the community. The board is grateful for this continued show of great community support.
