This is an endorsement for Karen Campbell, who is running as Cumberland’s incumbent candidate for the SAD 51 Boards of Directors.
Karen is currently vice chairwoman of the board and serves on the Strategic Thinking and Planning Committee, the Finance Committee and the Negotiations Committee.
As a board member, Karen does her homework. Her position on policy issues are objective and always based upon factual information. She does not succumb to politically expedient positions, but rather to what is best for students and their families. In addition, she works hard to find a balance between the educational needs of students and what can reasonably be asked of our taxpayers.
I can state unequivocally that Karen Campbell will devote the time and energy necessary to represent the citizens of Cumberland.
