I support Councilor Benet Pols in the race for the at-large seat on the Brunswick Town Council that I have held for the past three years. He has served District 7 quite well during his first term on the Brunswick Town Council and is more than capable of representing the entire town.
Pols and I have often agreed on the issues facing Brunswick. On the other hand, we have disagreed at times and he has made logical, articulate arguments to support his positions. He is brave: on more than one occasion, I’ve seen him take a strong minority position without flinching. Pols serves Brunswick well.
I want to thank each and every councilor, whether we vote the same way or not, who makes room in her or his life to serve in this important role. It’s a gift to our town and I appreciate it.
