It is well known that Falmouth’s school system is one of the very best in the state. The education of our children is among the most important responsibilities of any community. If America is going to continue to compete at the global level and remain No. 1, it all starts with our schools. At the local level, the quality of Falmouth’s school system has a direct correlation to our property values. A key reason families from Maine and out of state want to live in our community is because of the school system. As long as our school system remains one of the very best and families choose to buy homes in Falmouth, we are all well served.

The School Board, administration and the Town Council have all worked hard to make sure we continue to improve our school system and prepare our children to thrive in a rapidly evolving global economy. Falmouth’s youth will face economic pressures as adults that none of us can yet imagine, and we must do all we can to make sure they and America are ready. Falmouth has the best teachers, programs, facilities, administration and support from the community I have seen anywhere. There is very good reason to be proud of what this community has worked so hard to build. We must continue to do all we can to protect our shared future.
