I am one of the elderly in Falmouth. I have just read your front-page article regarding the purchase of Clapboard Island. I wondered, if Madokawanda Landing people thought it unfair to give as an association, thus depriving its members of charitable tax credits, how could Falmouth Town Council go ahead and donate $200,000 willy-nilly to the project. This was the first I had heard of this donation; I had not received notice or a request if I wanted to contribute to this worthy project.
