The Maine Clammers Association would like to thank people for all the generous and thoughtful contributions that have made this year’s Santa Fund a huge success. It’s never too late to contribute to the Santa Fund. In fact, the fund is operating slightly in the red.

Recently we learned of a young mother with two daughters (10 and 14) who is dying of terminal cancer and could not muster the strength or resources to provide for her girls. It shook up the local (Waldoboro) Clam Santa’s and they responded with another energetic effort to make it happen.

We have had people like Andy Roth-Wells, Nancy Marquis and Chuck Ridlon who already made a contribution send another to help the last-minute families. Thank you so much. Your generosity and love is overwhelming.
