It is with great enthusiasm that I write on behalf of John Christie for Cape Elizabeth School Board. As a CFO and COO of a company that provides information technology services to small businesses, John is well-versed in successfully guiding a company through particularly challenging economic times. As a business leader with extensive technology experience, John fully comprehends the importance of math, science and technology and would help continue the forward progress currently being made toward district technology goals. With technology and data collection now being an essential part or our educational infrastructure, John’s expertise would be of great value to our schools.

John also has a compelling track record of working constructively and collaboratively with others to achieve mutual goals. Often assuming the role of a consensus builder in his business, John is well respected for his ability to listen, his even temper and his desire to build bridges. He understands the balance that is critical for schools to stay on top of things in a cost-effective and educationally advantageous manner and he has the skills to help make this a reality.
