We urge you to support John Christie for School Board in upcoming Cape Elizabeth elections. As a father of first- and third-graders, John has a long-term personal interest in the quality of our schools. John is a thoughtful, patient person who is open to hearing different perspectives when discussing issues and working with others in our community to address these issues. On his own time he has already been actively engaged in gaining an understanding of the many issues facing our School Board.
His financial background as the CFO and COO of his own technology firm will bring valuable experience with creating workable budgets and making difficult financial decisions to achieve the needs of the school system. Like many of us, John and his wife Megan chose Cape Elizabeth for the quality public education our town offers. He believes that community involvement is essential to maintain this high quality. In such a financially challenging time we need a School Board member who is not only committed to our schools, but who has some practical knowledge of how to balance and manage budgets. On Nov.3, please join us in voting for John Christie for our School Board.
