Our beloved governor has caused us to receive negative publicity as far away as Australia. This coming election should be a referendum about him and his Republican cronies, as these people will not be happy until they cause a national boycott of tourists avoiding Maine, effectively wrecking the state’s economy. More than that, however, Scarborough residents should vote for Democrat Jean Marie Caterina for the state Senate in District 30 based on her own merits. A longtime educator, community leader and independent business woman, she has been a leader on the Town Council, being involved in many forward initiatives. On Election Day please vote for Caterina for the Senate.
