I encourage my friends and neighbors in North Yarmouth to join me in re-electing state Sen. Brownie Carson, D-Brunswick, in Senate District 24 this fall.
Carson is completing his first term in the Senate, and he has built strong relationships with other legislators to get legislation passed and implemented. He brought a strong environmental background to this new position, having provided years of strong leadership across the state. But in the Legislature, he has not limited himself to these issues. For instance, he spearheaded bipartisan legislation that passed to strengthen our public health nursing system that serves families with newborns, the elderly, and sick and disabled individuals with in-home health care.
I have been most impressed that Carson is so excited to learn about new issues and what can be done for all Mainers and to improve Maine’s economy.
