As a former legislator who served as the Senate chairwoman of the Legislature’s Judiciary Committee, I am writing to endorse Mary Ann Lynch in the Democratic primary for state representative in Cape Elizabeth’s House District 30.
I had the opportunity to see her work on a daily basis, and we worked together on several major legislative initiatives on behalf of the Maine courts. Those measures were enacted into law with bipartisan support. She is respected for her knowledge of the legislative process, her work ethic, and her integrity.
Mary Ann has been a lifelong Democrat and, as a Clean Elections candidate, her priorities are to invest in education, protect our environment, enact common-sense gun laws, and make sure no Maine family is without health care.
Cape Elizabeth will benefit from sending a representative of Mary Ann’s caliber to Augusta.
