In expensive times we need government to remember that our wallets only stretch so far. One of the reasons Hope Cahan is running for Falmouth Town Council is to make sure government is mindful of what taxes do to a person’s budget. While property taxes are necessary for our town to function, Hope knows that when property taxes are too high citizens have to make hard financial choices. Hope wants to protect us from this, wants to make sure that our seniors are not pushed out due to unmanageable taxes and wants our adult kids to have the opportunity to buy homes in Falmouth. Hope’s work and life experiences have taught her the damage high taxes can do to a community and how residents can get squeezed out. Vote Hope Cahan for Falmouth Town Council; she will work to increase commercial tax income so that our taxes stay stable.
