On behalf of the Brunswick-Trinidad Sister City Association I would like to thank the entire Mid-Coast area for making this our best Cuba Week yet. The attendance and participation at our events was wonderful to see. Our thanks to all the presenters and performers, to those who lent their art for the art show, and to all the restaurants that added something Cuban to their menus.
It is heartwarming to see the interest in our people-to-people relationship with Trinidad, Cuba and also to witness the generosity of the many folks who have donated to our Trinidad Municipal Library Fund. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to shore up their crumbling public library. If you would like to donate, please do so at our website, www.brunswicktrinidad.org under Get Involved.
We are already planning for Cuba Week 2012. Stay tuned.
