We are writing to ask for your support for Mike Brown as a candidate for School Administrative District 51 Board of Directors.
Mike has been a resident of Cumberland for more than 10 years and has always been interested and involved in the community, most recently as the vice chairman of the Shellfish Commission. He holds degrees in business and economics, and has worked in education and government throughout his career, giving him a unique perspective and insights into the challenges the district faces.
As the father of two young daughters he is approaching this opportunity without an agenda, but rather the genuine goal of improving the transparency by which many difficult decisions will be made over the coming years.
