As our state senator, Democrat Cathy Breen will promote sound, efficient, and caring government. She will provide District 25 with leadership, an excellent knowledge of our needs and the workings of government, and a concern for good, cost-effective management of public resources.

Breen has experience working productively across a broad spectrum of people and activities. Her endorsements include independent Sen. Dick Woodbury and Democratic Reps. Mary Nelson and Stephen Moriarity.

Examples of her leadership: during Breen’s six-year tenure on the Falmouth Town Council (with two terms as chairwoman), the property tax rate actually dropped by almost 16 percent, the 2007 Open Space referendum was passed, successfully providing conservation of local land and wildlife habitat, and a new elementary school was built and delivered on time and substantially under budget.

Cathy Breen has earned our votes. She will be a super senator.
