We support Cathy Breen in the Senate District 25 Democratic primary. Based on her prior service as a Falmouth town councilor, we believe that Cathy has the right temperament and energy to serve in the Senate. Cathy’s commitment to equality for all Mainers, whether it is marriage equality, equal pay for equal work or equal access to health care and higher education, has been longstanding and is not an election season conversion. Cathy understands that our greatest asset is our people; when Mainers have equal opportunity and equal treatment, their work ethic and ingenuity come shining through. She knows that without equal access to education and basic human services, the gap between rich and poor will only continue to grow in Maine.
