I will be voting to re-elect state Sen. Cathy Breen, D-Falmouth, in Senate District 25, and urge my fellow constituents to follow suit.

I have been impressed with Breen’s visibility at various community events, her outreach to the people she serves, and her active participation in effecting legislation dear to our hearts and our pocketbooks.

Sen. Breen has voted to increase state funding for education, thereby reducing property taxes; has fought to repair Route 26 in Gray; restore a turnpike commuter lot, and is a staunch supporter of environmental issues, helping to conserve land throughout her district.

Additionally, she was named Legislator of the Year by the Maine chapter of a national pediatric group and has been endorsed by Maine Conservation Voters.

For these reasons and more, please vote for Sen. Cathy Breen, a true public servant.
