Residents of Cumberland have the opportunity this November to re-elect two highly dedicated and effective legislators to represent us in Augusta. Sen. Cathy Breen, D-Falmouth, and Rep. Dale Denno, D-Cumberland, have served with distinction and have earned our support in their re-election bids.
As members of the Appropriations and Health and Human Services Committees, respectively, Cathy and Dale have taken on two of the most challenging assignments in the legislature. They have worked hard to preserve our commitment to sound government without losing sight of the vital needs of all of our residents. They are leaders focused upon the future with a commitment to eliminate the strident divisions and partisanship that have too often blocked the way. With open minds and a commitment to listen, they will continue to serve us with a high level of achievement and accomplishment.
