Bob Watterson is the best choice for Yarmouth School Committee. Yes, Bob has been actively engaged in the Yarmouth community for over 10 years. Yes, he has led the football program from a club to a sanctioned state-champion team. Yes, he has volunteered many hours to help students excel in the classroom, and yes, Bob was recently an active member of the Superintendent Search Committee.
All good things and an admirable use of time, but they are not why I am supporting Bob Watterson for School Committee.
Participation is good, but results are what we measure. I am supporting Bob due to the way he manages a process, the way he thinks and works. Fiscally responsible and consensus-building, while having the ability to make tough decisions and drive results: These are the characteristics that we need today in Yarmouth.
