As the son of Irish immigrants who raised four boys on a streetcar driver’s salary, I can sympathize completely with Edgar Allen’s Beem’s support for the working class and his liberal views on things political. Beem’s views are always intelligent, fair and witty. As we liberals like to say, ” Keep on keeping on, Mr.Beem.”
