I am delighted that Cathy Breen is running for state Senate District 25. I have known Cathy for six years and followed her political career in Falmouth, where she served two terms on Town Council. It is refreshing to follow someone with Democratic values similar to my own, specifically, high-quality public education and land conservation. In Falmouth, she provided instrumental support of programs reflecting these values, while consistently keeping the pocketbooks of her constituents in mind, championing low property taxes while achieving her goals of public interest. Cathy is dedicated to bringing these ideals to the Legislature. I am excited that she has the opportunity to make changes in Augusta for the citizens of Cumberland, Yarmouth, Falmouth, Chebeague Island, Long Island, Gray and a part of Westbrook.
