A little over three years ago the Wardtown Mobile Home Park, an entity of the Freeport Housing Trust, began the complicated process of becoming an independent cooperative organization, owned by the residents of the park. This was a difficult and uncertain time for many of the residents, who had numerous questions and concerns about managing the park.

Lee Arris was present throughout most of the meetings and helped in guiding the discussions, solving problems and finding answers. His knowledge, energy and willingness to help in this process was greatly appreciated.

Now the park has its own governing board, which sets the budget, pays the bills, establishes the rules and manages the park’s business. Much credit goes to Lee for his help.

Lee is a good leader and remains involved in our community. That’s why I am voting for him for town councilor at large next month.
