My name is Jan Andrews. I am pleased to be running as a candidate for Falmouth School Board. I have lived in Maine with my husband for 23 years where we have raised six children. All of our children are graduates of the public school system and are diverse in abilities presenting unique challenges. The experience gained has provide me with the skills and knowledge needed to guide our school system in near decisions and long term planning. I am a registered nurse and have worked in military hospitals and for the Red Cross in Europe.
As a board member, I will maintain the high standard of education and strive for innovative means to meet future demands of our world, especially in technology and in civic responsibilities.
I hope you will support me on June 14 and would appreciate the opportunity to work as a member of the School Board team.
