I’ll be voting for Janice de Lima, Tommy Johnson and Jay Trickett in the June election for the Falmouth Town Council. Author Dr. Stephen Covey coined the phrase “Seek first to understand, then to be understood.” It’s a sound practice. Understanding Falmouth’s needs is gained by participating in town committees and actively volunteering in service to others. Each of these three candidates have given of themselves and they understand the needs of their fellow residents.
Of equal importance, these three folks treat their neighbors and our talented town staff with respect. Gratefully, voters in Falmouth have a record of choosing town councilors who aren’t pursuing some personal agenda, and have wisely rejected disruptive and disrespectful behavior. I hope you agree.
