Coffee sippers at Scarborough Grounds got a visit from Gov. Paul LePage Friday morning, Jan. 17, his first stop on a tour of seven Scarborough businesses. LePage, left, was joined by state Rep. Heather Sirocki, R-Scarborough, as they spoke with Carll Wilkinson. Behind Wilkinson is Sirocki’s mother, Erika Pinkham. Jonathan Gates, owner of the coffee shop at 264 U.S. Route 1, said he learned on Thursday that LePage would visit, but was not sure it would actually happen until the governor walked in. The visit was arranged in part by the state Department of Economic and Community Development.
