BRUNSWICK — Leo John “Buzz” Bouchard Sr., 66, died Oct. 24 with loving family by his side.

He was born in Old Town on June 30, 1943, the son of Leo Albert and Virginia (LeBretton) Bouchard and attended local schools.

In 1960 he joined the U.S. Army and served until he was honorably discharged in 1966.

After returning from the Army, he moved to Madison, where he married Donna Comeau and raised two children.

In 1985 he moved to Brunswick where he met his fiancee Monique. From 1989 until his retirement in 2005 he worked at L.L. Bean.

He was a member of the Kennebec Valley Riders Motorcycle Club and enjoyed camping and fishing with friends.

His great sense of humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was predeceased by both his parents, his brother Alan Bouchard and his best friend Reginald Bagley.

Survivors include his fiancee Monique Potee, her son Leon, his wife Mary and their daughter Noelle; his two loving children, Leo J. Bouchard Jr., and Katharine Leeman and her husband Steven; two grandchildren, Joshua Leeman and his wife Heather, and Chad Leeman and his girlfriend Sally Landry; two great-grandchildren, Alecxander Leeman and Abagail Leeman; two sisters, Patricia Walsh and her husband Frank and Sheila Gower and her husband David; several nieces and nephews; and cousins.

Memorial services were held earlier this week.

Arrangements are by Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick.
