FREEPORT — L.L. Bean will host “Scout-o-Rama” at its flagship store, 95 Main St., on Saturday, May 12.

The event is open to the public. It will begin at 9 a.m. with a Boy Scout parade down Main Street and will be followed by a day of activities at Discovery Park.

Ken Sparta, program director of Pine Tree Council for Boy Scouts of America, said “this is a chance for Scouts, families and the public to experience a variety of outdoor sports, and activities like archery, fat-tire biking, outdoor cooking, skateboarding, and even race a Pinewood Derby car.”
