BRUNSWICK — Kyle B. Dwyer, 21, died Sept. 4 in Bangor.

On Jan. 8, 1988, he was born in Brunswick, the son of Blair C. and Jodie Thompson Dwyer.

While attending Brunswick High School he excelled at playing basketball and football.

He was enrolled in his third year at Husson College, where he played on the football team and joined Husson’s first year lacrosse team.

Currently, he was working at Ruby Tuesdays, where he was proud to have been recently promoted to a waitstaff position. He had previously worked at Muddy Rudder in Yarmouth.

Some of his favorite memories were from Hoop Basketball Camp in Casco.

He loved being around people and spending time with his extended family. His zest for life and mischievous smile were contagious.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Alvin MacKenzie, Lila Couturier, Richard Thompson, George Dwyer and an aunt, Becky Clough.

He is survived by his parents, Blair and Jodie of Brunswick; a sister, Courtney Lee Dwyer of Brighton, Mass., and a brother, Colby B. Dwyer of Brunswick; paternal grandmother, Dorothy C. MacKenzie of Brunswick and maternal grandfather, Roger Couturier of Greene; 22 aunts and uncles; and 27 cousins.

A celebration of life was held earlier this week.

Arrangements are by Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick.
