SCARBOROUGH — The Kiwanis Key Club will hold a food drive on Saturday, April 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Scarborough High School.

Food drive boxes are also located throughout town, and have been available for donations for the past few weeks. Saturday’s collection will be added to the contents of those boxes and donated to food pantries in Scarborough and South Portland.

The Kiwanis Key Club, which is an international organization, has more than 150 student members in Scarborough. Members must complete 30 hours of community service per year completing tasks that build the community both locally and globally. The food drive is part of the organization’s “One Day” event, which aims to complete as many global service hours in one day as possible.
