SOUTH PORTLAND — The Northeast Junior Olympic Sailing Festival invites junior sailors and spectators to Bug Light Park for a two-day competition on July 15 and 16.
Hosted by SailMaine, a Portland-based nonprofit community sailing center, the US Sailing event is expected to attract more than 500 spectators for the races that begin at Bug Light Park, weather permitting, at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 15.
Spectators can also view the competition from Fort Allen Park and along the Eastern Promenade in Portland.
