BRUNSWICK — Joyce E. Adams, 80, of Brunswick, died May 10 at Seaside Rehabilitation Center, in Portland.

Adams was born Sept. 19, 1932, in Brunswick, the daughter of Maynard and Elizabeth Bragdon Albee. She graduated from Brunswick High School in the class of 1951. Her first husband, Arthur G. Williams, Jr., died in 1971. She married Paul A. Adams Sr. in January 1974, in Brunswick.

Before retiring in 1982, Adams worked as a telephone operator for AT&T for 30 years.

Adams was a member of the Brunswick United Methodist Church, where she was a 50-plus-year member of the Loyalty Club and the recent treasurer. She was a life member of Fair Point Pioneers.

Adams and her husband enjoyed many motorcycle trips across the United States and into Canada. She was a lover of all kinds of outdoor activities, especially fishing, camping and boating.

Adams is survived by her husband, Paul A. Adams Sr., of Brunswick; a daughter, Deborah L. Williams, of Brunswick; two sons, Paul A. Adams Jr., of St. Peterburgh, Fla., and Gary B. Adams and his wife, Carol, of Georgetown; and a granddaughter, Dayna Marie Adams, a student in Fort Meyers, Fla.

A funeral was held May 14 at Brackett Funeral Home, in Brunswick.
