After six years on Falmouth’s Town Council, I have come to deeply appreciate that Falmouth is well-managed and well-governed; has a broad range of responsibilities and duties to its citizens; works diligently to respond to citizen concerns and needs; endeavors to be open, fair, and honest; depends on active citizen engagement and volunteers; acts with integrity; pursues fairness and thoroughness through rules and processes, and relies on rigorous and civil public debate to do its best work.

Town Council candidates Janice de Lima, Tommy Johnson, and Jay Trickett, through their work life and civic engagement, have demonstrated that they will uphold these standards. I hope you will join me in voting for them on June 11.

Claudia King, vice chairwoman
Falmouth Town Council
