NORTH YARMOUTH — John Quatticci, 77, died April 2 after a period of declining health.
He was born and raised in Portland.
From 1952 to 1958 he served in the U.S. Army.
While working at Calderwood’s Bakery, he meet Claudia Atkins and they married Dec. 1, 1967.
For many years he worked for the Portland Water District until he retired in 1997.
They raised three children, Amy, Art and Alan, in their North Yarmouth home.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Claudia of North Yarmouth; his three children, Amy of Yarmouth, Art of Cumberland and his wife Gretchen and Alan of New Gloucester and his wife Dee; and six grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday.
Arrangements are by Lindquist Funeral Home, 1 Mayberry Lane, Yarmouth.
