BRUNSWICK — John Lippolis, 63, died April 28 at his home.
He was born in Jersey City, N.J., a son of Gus and Helen Massaro Lippolis and attended local schools.
In March 1970 he married Mel Lauria in Jersey City, N.J.
For 30 years he served in the U. S. Navy, retiring as Master Chief.
He later worked as precinct commander of security at BNAS until retiring March 2010.
Surviving are his wife Mel Lauria of Brunswick; two daughters, Elena Marie Lippolis of Portland and Deanna Haugen of North Dakota; a brother, Michael Lippolis and his wife Irene of South Carolina, a sister, Marie Elena Picerno and her husband Robert of New Jersey; and three grandchildren, Kiana, Sydney and Kaydance.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 6 at the Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal St., Brunswick.
