BRUNSWICK — Jennie M. Belanger, 98, of Shea Road, died July 19.
She was born in Bath, the daughter of Leon N. and Etelda (Menard) Belanger. She attended St. Mary’s Parochial School and graduated from Morse High School.
Jennie was employed at LaVerdiere’s Drug Store, and also served as a clerk with the Maine Secretary of State’s office for 32 years.
Belanger was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, working outdoors and traveling.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Rita St. Pierre and Lillian Perkins.
She is survived by a sister, Rose Caron, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 23, at 10:30 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 132 McKeen St., Brunswick.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to the church, or to Hospice of MidCoast, P.O. Box 741, Brunswick, ME 04011.
