FREEPORT ? Jean Dorothea Wright, 89, of Yarmouth, died Nov. 25. She was born Sept. 9, 1926, in Norwalk, Connecticut, a daughter of Evelyn (Grover) and Roy Wright. She attended Norwalk schools and graduated from Norwalk High School.

Wright was a stay-at-home mother who raised eight children. She then become a nurse’s aide and, eventually, a CNA, before retiring from Pineland. Wright was a volunteer at Sunshine Camp and participated in the Grandparents Program through the YMCA.

She will be remembered for her enthusiasm, singing and dancing.

At Wright’s request, there will be no services.
