TOPSHAM — Jane Ferguson Collins, 91, died May 27 at Mid Coast Senior Health Center.

She was born in Hanover, New Hampshire, on Oct. 13, 1923, to John Livingston Ferguson and Ola Hosking Ferguson. She grew up in St. Albans, Vermont, attending local schools and then Simmons College in Boston.

In 1949, she married Charles J. Collins, of Cambridge, Massachusetts, who predeceased her.

Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth C. Lakeman; her son, C. Stephen Collins; six grandchildren; a sister, Barbara Glasgow, of Griffin, Georgia; and a brother, J. Alan Ferguson, of Ormond Beach, Florida.

Services were to be private.
