PORTLAND — The Portland Housing Authority is the leading recipient of new federal funding announced by U.S. Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine.
PHA will receive $297,000 of the $1.06 million in funding for affordable housing and “supportive services for persons with disabilities,” according to an Aug. 29 press release.
Other funding recipients include the Westbrook Housing Authority, which is getting $144,000, and the Bath Housing Authority, which will receive $144,213.
The Maine State Housing Authority will receive $161,000.
