FALMOUTH — Hospice of Southern Maine will offer conversations about end-of-life decision-making in a four-part series this fall. All sessions are free and open to the public and will be held at the Falmouth Congregational Church.

Sessions will be held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 25 and Oct. 2, 9 and 23. Along with each presentation, literature about hospice care and how to pay for it will also be available. Call 781-3413 or email to FCCdesk@maine.rr.com to reserve a spot.

The first session is entitled, “Everything You’ve Wanted to Know about Hospice,” and will discuss the basics, including how hospice care makes it possible for a terminally ill person to be cared for at home.

The other three sessions will focus on specific aspects of hospice, including how and when to have a talk with your physician and family members, how to impart your final wishes and how to deal with grief and find bereavement support.
