Caldwell also received the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards Silver Medallion for her volunteer work on behalf of the ALS Foundation. Caldwell, whose father died of ALS last fall, helped raise $23,000 toward finding a cure. She will be traveling to Washington, D.C., next month, where she will receive a $1,000 award at the 2014 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards.
