FREEPORT — Students can bring their gently used prom dresses to Freeport High School, 30 Holbrook St., on Friday, April 10, between 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. for a swap and sale.

The Freeport High School junior class is the sponsor of the event, which is open to students from all schools. The sale is on Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., in the high school cafeteria.

A consignment fee of $3 per dress will be charged, but consignors will receive a free ticket for the sale on April 11; tickets are $4 each at the door. There are no boys allowed at the sale, and all dresses will be tried on in a large room, so wear appropriate undergarments.

Any dress not sold and any money from sold items can be picked up between 1:30 and 3 p.m. If a dress is not picked up, it will be donated to charity.
