TOPSHAM — Helen P. Perry, 96, died Nov. 27. She was born in the Panama Canal Zone on July 3, 1916, the daughter of Maj. James M. and Florence M. Patterson Piercy.

She is survived by a daughter, Diane P.; her husband, Raymond E. Hender, of Topsham; her grandson, Taylor J. Hender, and his wife, Nicole S., of Grottoes, Va.; and two great-granddaughters, Caroline Elizabeth and Leighann Blair Hender.

A graveside service will be held in Wall, N.J., at a later date. For those unable to attend, condolences to the family may be expressed at www.brackettfuneralhome.com.
