PORTLAND — Democrat Anne Haskell won a second, two-year term in the Maine Senate on Tuesday, defeating Green Independent candidate Owen Hill 10,888 to 2,253 in state Senate District 28.

The district covers the western portion of the city and eastern part of Westbrook. Haskell also served three terms in the state House of Representatives in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.
