HARPSWELL — Town officials are looking for creative ideas from property owners or residents for “Welcome” signs to be placed at two locations, one on Route 123 and the other on Route 24.
Selectmen recently appointed a Design Review Committee that will narrow submissions to be voted on the March 2011 annual Town Meeting.
The winning designer will be awarded $500. Proposal forms are available on the town’s website. Responses must be returned to the town office by noon, Nov. 1.
