HARPSWELL — Following complaints from neighbors, the Harpswell Heritage Land Trust has updated its guidelines for the Stover’s Point Preserve on Windsor Lane.

The new rules ban vehicles from the point at night, and require that dogs be on leash from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Memorial Day to Labor Day.

New signs also allow fireworks only July 3, 4 and 5, Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, per town ordinance.

The new rules are enforceable by the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, according to a land trust press release.
