HARPSWELL — Cumberland County Sheriff Kevin Joyce on Monday said 15 vehicles were burglarized in town during the first two weeks of February.
All of the vehicles were parked in residential driveways, Joyce said in a press release, and were left unlocked by their owners.
There were 27 vehicle burglaries reported in 2015, Joyce said, and all of those vehicles were also left unlocked by their owners.
Joyce said if a car is burglarized, owners should not touch anything in or around the vehicle, and then call 893-2810.
